Nice!

LOL. Northeastern Oklahoma, where I live (Tulsa) is much greener and has more elevation changes than central and western Oklahoma, where you were.

Yeah, you'll see Howie there. Just look for the old timer driving a Warpspeed.

You know Randy and I'll be there too.

Besides team drivers, you'll see a ton of Fukuyama powered cars out there, they are the most popular cells in SoCal

This will be so cool. I've never raced with so many Fukuyama owners. I wish I could bring my Serpent 705 to race as well, but I do not have enough space. Here's a pic of me with my cars (I now sport the Fukuyama body in my avitar though) so people know what I look like before the race and can recognize me and approach me if they have any questions. See you guys soon!

John quit scaring away your fellow Fukuyama drivers. Are you out in Cali yet or just leaving to get their.

You know it...but I try not to be scary. LOL

Nope, leaving for Cali this Saturday. I was feeling generous and just mailed my old nitro car and radio to my sisters BF that lives in San Diego. I figured I never use it anymore since I really like my 705. I wanted to give it to someone that could really enjoy it and get him started in the hobby.

Yeah it is I guess. Ofna OB4 pro with Picco P15 and Futaba AM radio. About enough spare parts to make a new car..LOL I probably spent 150 bucks in the last two weeks making it whole again and tuned it all up. It will be worth it to see his face though...he'll have a blast. Jon, you'll meet him on Sunday, he's coming to the race with me.

We're going to have a huge pit Sunday. I think there'll be 6 of us.

Dan's saving me a pit next to him. It's strange to think that you have to bring a personal generator. All the tracks here provide ample power. Hmm. One less thing to worry about...maybe just a few breakers popping on large events...LOL

Hey Guys,

Quick question. How soon before you race should your batteries be charged?

Should be charged as close to race time as possible? Or an hour before? or what?

thanks.
