Hi All,

I was curious as to what the lowest turn brushless motors you tune? i plan on running expert open mod on the onroad side of things this year and want a good motor. Also how do the 13.5's compare to the novaks? this year will be my first year running Pro 13.5 and want any advantage i can get so i can do well and hopfully get a few sponsors.

I dont think they do compare. Murfdoggs have a big advantage. and for the lowest wind mod i think he can do like a 3.0?

In head to head testing, our 13.5 motors are usually 2 to 3 laps faster than novak motors in oval racing(geared properly) and about half a lap faster in offroad racing. Should be just as stout in Touring Car racing. You can send me a PM if you want any further details.

Our motors are currently available at Hot Rod Hobbies. We will be delivering a fresh batch to them this weekend.

Thanks for your interest.

Bisbee,
I ended up in 4 B-Mains and 1 C-Main. I was fast all weekend, just kept on blowing up drivetrain parts. These cars werent designed to handle todays horsepower. I blew up transmissions 8 times in a weekend, of course none were in practice... Working to bulletproof my drivelines for future races.

I had the fastest laps all weekend long in Nitro Sprint Car but couldnt finish any runs cause of failures.

hey Matt it was cool to see your 17.5 in Josh Mitchell's truck last night at OCRC. He was one of the very few (maybe 1 or 2 others) that were consistently (and easily) clearing the big triple in front of the drivers stand. Cool to see a truck fly like that.

and he made for a hell of an epic finish too. Flipped on his lid and slid over for the 1st place win with 2nd right on his tail...photo finish with 1 upside truck haha.
