Guys I just picked up a new TC4 and a Mamba Max 7700kv system. I have the stock 72tooth pinion and am running a Maxamps 2s2p 6000mah pack. What size pinions should I start off with?

What type of connection between the motor and ESC? ESC soldered directly to the motor, connectors in between, ??? Let me know. Also, what is your timing set to? You should have it set for normal timing advance ONLY. How close is the ESC to the receiver in the vehicle? What transmitter and receiver? Let me know.

I bought a Mamba Max 5700 about 6 months ago. I have not had any problems with mine. I took the motor out to inspect it, and i've noticed that the shaft has a lot of play in it, & im certain that its just the bearings have been worn down.

I use this motor on a TT-01 with the metal motor mount, but the mount moves back and forth a lil tiny bit, which is why i think the bearings have worn down. I will have to stick some paper around the mount to tightly secure it into place so that it wont move.

Now, has anybody done a bearing replacement for there CM36S motor. What size bearing do i use and what end of the motor should i open to replace the bearings??

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance...

The Mamba Max motors are sealed and are not serviceable. If you are having a bearing problem please contact Joe to try and remedy this problem. But you should not be having any sort of bearing problem.

Later,
Thanks CRASH, as soon as i posted my problem i contacted Joe. The bearing problem is causing my motor to loose performance. I can feel & hear it stutter becuase there is so much play...
