At what voltage should cutoff the auto lipo saver for 2s ? I think its 6v, but just want to be sure. Today after 40 mins of run my mamba fully stops and the battery was 6V. The problem is that one cell was 2.8v and the other 3.2v. Will it be better to set it to 6.4-6.6v cutoff if this pack is not already damaged?

I think its 6v .I set mine at 6.4 for a little safety margin. And on 2.8v I don't think you have damaged your pack but better don't do it again.

The 7700kv feels like a 5.5T , the 9000kv will probably feel like a 4.5T , not to mention it is going to be additional expense on my part, i'm very disappointed with the mamba system at the moment. After all the hype i was expecting much more from the 7700kv, as many have said its as fast as a 4.0T, im just not seeing it. Unless i gear the motor till it cooks. The sp4.5 has a 10500kv, thats higher than a 9000kv mamba even.

Thanks

T and kv numbers doesn't mean nothing. At least to me.For example according Tekin their Redline 448 with 4800kv is a 4T motor and the Redline 278 with 7800kv is a 2.5T.Every manufacture use different standards for T and kv numbers(loaded or unload). And i don't believe the sp4.5 has a 10500kv because i had this motor and it was slower than the castle 7700.If i was you i sould tried to run a 4.5T motor with the mamba max speedo just to ensure if its a motor or a speedo issue. To be honest with you im concerning about the 198F you're getting after 5 min at this FDR.You shouldn't get so high temp even with lower FDR.

I have tried a different mamba speedo and mamba motor, i bought 2 of these combo's. The drivetrain on the car is also smooth, there is no binding. When using a 4T on my track the FDR is a 9.1

Thanks

Are there any plans for a Hyper 7 conv. kit for the MMM? Any suggestions on mods of current kits?

How is your temp when using a 4T on your track with a 9.1 FDR?

When I first saw this post I said no way but after trying it with my 4600 on carpet in rubber TC it works great at 145* motor and speedo 140*.
My 7700 outdoor I can get all the speed I could possibly use on a road course track with 160 foot strait on one side.
The 3.5's are no faster then my 7700 at 9.1 FDR on some layout's and 11.5FDR on others with 6000 20C lipo's. I've been running the same 7700 for 4 years and it's been 210* motor and 195* speedo on hot days many many times, I've never even oiled the bearings and it's still smooth as butter.
The MM's can take lots of gear, the 3.5's will thermo trying to keep up.

My 7700's must be a 5700 with the wrong sticker on. Especially if you gear your 7700 at a 9.1 FDR and it beats 3.5's. an X12 4.5 even makes my 7700 look like its looking for parking

Why don't you try to run a 4.5T or a 4T of another manufacture with the Mamba max? Maybe it isn't a motor issue but a speedo .And a silly question: are you sure you have calibrated your speedo with your transmitter for full throttle and brake?

I have recalibrated the transmitter a few times, i have 2 mamba systems and its the same on both. I can only think that the mamba needs much more gear to get it fast.

Now your talking ..........Go to what ever gearing it takes to get the speed you need....... All the MM's can take it......The ESC will get hot like 200*+.... But like I said they can take it.
Also you need the biggest baddest Lipo's to make the 7700 work at it's best. My 6000 20C's where just OK, you really need 30C or 40C lipo's if you want the most from the 7700

Hello there.
Is anybody tried to use 11.1v for MM7700 with limited throttle adjustmebts from the radio?
Can anybody suggest me a fan for the mamba ESC? I went to lockal shop, but nothning special there.
Is there any way to exchange the stock heatsink with bigger one or with mounted fan on it?

Thanks,
Stanislav
