Yep. I have an extender to to make plugging in / out easy. I can get my receiver box open without touching horn. Maybe my receiver is smaller, but I can sort of slide it out under the horn. I have found on eBay a receiver controller to use an Aux channel to switch the lights. I didn't realize you can't just switch the channel from the transmitter. It was about $5.

Mine has similar marks, but given what it's been through I am surprised how well it has held up. I have put a plug on the lead for quick installs/removals for more full on runs.
Today I had a run at the local track. Jumping is still tough- need full throttle to keep it from nose diving (and that's with a rear mounted spare and chassis weights). Just gotta keep on the gas hard. Landings were nice then. Hit a pipe hard and pulled off the rear a arm. It was just one of the adjustment blocks pulling out, and the package has about a dozen spares. So up and running again

I installed buggy tires on mine. I really like how it handles, also installed different springs.
The buggy tires have a bit smaller outer diameter, so I wanted to gear up to keep same top speed.
My pinion gear screw is stripped, meh. Installed 8s, problem solved.
Hobbyshop employee looked at me like a wild man when I asked for two thin 4s batteries. I then explained Ohms law.
I also broke my light strip. Double meh.

Because I loves me db8. A little unedited footage of 8s buggy wheels. Nothing too amazing.

Looking back through, I am interested in the tyres people are using. I am looking to avoid rollovers (I think the sticks are soft, and narrow). So looking for wider. I am thinking about :
- proline badland mx28 2.8" -
about same height but wider ( https://www.amainhobbies.com/proline-badlands-mx28-2.8-tires-w-f11-nitro-rear-wheels-2-black-pro10125-18/p708334 ) or
- proline mx38 3.8" (taller and wider https://www.amainhobbies.com/proline-badlands-3.8-tire-w-f11-17mm-1-2-offset-mt-wheel-2-black-m2-pro10127-13/p543313?v=537239 ) - could be too tall
The mx28 come stock with the new proline MT4x4. I think the tekno MT410 recommends 3.8's.
I can see above some narrower Badlands (normal 2.8, not MX?)
