the axial yeti score bodies work as do the Losi 2XXLe body.
Here's my RC8TE with the losi body. It will fit the DB8. Same chassis length.

Thanks for posting the pic. now finding something that will look cool on the db8 is going to be key. I just added the rear wing and mount from the buggy. idk how i feel about the look of that with the cage.

You would need these adapters

Heres my Tekno

And heres my Apache. Both 1/8 scale buggy based running aluminum 2.2 bead locks
Hi chainsaw, do you mind sharing which 8mm stub axles you used for your apache to fit those 12mm wheel hub adapters?

Default Db8 for 299 refurbished

If you're shopping for this truck/buggy, now's your chance. Team associated website is selling them for 299 with free shipping (it qualifies because it's over 99 bucks).

Direct link

I just got one because I love my rc8 platforms. Such a tank.

I did get one as well. That makes 3 Nomads in the collection. Blows my mind that it's dying on the vine; so much fun to drive.

I'm excited to get mine. Hopefully it'll be soon and I'm literally 25 or so miles away from team associated. So it would only be a day once it ships.

Looks like a few people have purchased this at the "refurbished" price and parting them out on ebay. If you own a Nomad and plan on keeping it in you collect, you might want to consider this: https://www.associatedelectrics.com/...r_refurbished/

At $299, it's a heck of a deal. I purchased one and it arrived New in Box; it has never been used. Just something to consider.
