thanks!

If anyone is interested in a video of how to mount 2.2 Hyrax tires on 17mm SCT wheels aka Nomad wheels.

I race U4RC with it and haven't yet. But I'm also running the FT hinge pin mounts. No sure if that makes a difference.

Hinge pin bushings? Both upper and lower?

Interesting. I would think it's possible to have a stamped mount/A Plate cause havoc compared to a machined A Plate. Sharp edges on the stamped piece?

yes, stock for me. I have the SC8 cage and body but don't run it since I'm racing, but may build me another rig soon and run that as an SC8.

Oh no i was thinking a totally different truck body and not the sc8 one. how ever not many truck bodies that are 8.5" wide. id have to go truggy or shortcourse body to make it fit.

Shortcouse body you would have to shorten chassis. There is a hpi body that also fits, and I think it works with sc8 cage, but it looks a lot like the sc8 body iirc. To run truggy body you would need different shock towers and mounts, unless you just did custom mounted and didn't use rc8t parts.

I've ran factory team and stock mounts a lot over the years on associated vehicles that use these same mounts. I really like the factory team mounts, but for bashing I prefer stock mounts. If you crash and cartwheel or hit something it tends to crack and break the factory team aluminum mounts. With the stock mount worse case it normally bends, and you can bend it back several before replacing.
