I think AE added some of the screws in the 44.2 just for the heck of it. The TLR 22 buggy too. Holy moley that car has a lot of screws holding it together!

Curious what you didn't like about the 22-4. To me, it's a very, very, very well behaved and easy to drive buggy. The last car that felt as good was the one in my Avatar if you can tell what it is

Manual looks good, pretty easy to follow, there is a lot I screws I guess but not over the top, once all the components are together it will be fine, very simple layout plenty of room, why are the shock protectors not shown in the manual, were these dumped from the production models?
Ps I'll build mine with mostly alloy screws in non critical areas to save weight if need be ;-)
Also I see the book setup is for high traction, will there be a setup for low/mid indoor by the time of release or just some feedback on here for some tips?
Cheers Justin

No doubt the 22-4 is a fast car! I just don't like the belt "feel" and I miss the gear diffs in my 410.... And I'm hoping the D413 is more durable than the 410. The 22-4 has yet to break on me but the stories I have heard are scary...

Looks like this kit will release soon, what's your choice for electronics? I have a new Reedy Mach 2 6.5t motor, for servo I chose a Spektrum S6040. I have a new Tekin rx8 gen in stock but I hate to put a esc like that in a baby buggy. Honestly I hate to put a $200+ esc in a light weight buggy. I'm not a pro racer but like all off you I still want good performance. What's the best bang for the buck when it comes to 1/10 esc's in your opinion?

Here is a good value priced speedo ($102):

Can any one tell me why the v3 esc cost about $100 more than the v2 esc? I'm trying to make an intelligent choice but I need to know the facts. A lot of the specs are just mumbo jumbo to an old duffer like me... I appreciate the input!
