You definitely have a problem. You may have mixed up the components with others during assembly, or you were given an incorrect item at packaging (unlikely). Post your problem on myTSN.com, the HUDY/XRAY moderators will address your dilemma. Good luck.

i think there is a pair of concaved washers that go on the layshaft in opposite directions that are compressed when you tighten the oneway pulley, so make sure you have put those on in the proper orientation.

Those concave washers are for tension of the layshaft oneway. Even if the washers were put in the same direction, that would not effect the amount of play the layshaft moves between the bulkheads, it effects only the oneway's performance.

I run on an outdoor track most of the year. This is my first season driving the Xray and our season doesnt start until march. Still searching for different setups to try out on our parking lot track with decent traction. Our track is roughly 130 x 50

try the base set up as its real close to what you need for out doors. they hit a very neutral set-up. then i run 45 shore front and 42 shore rear speedmind foams(btw these foams tend to run a little soft on the durometer) then tune to your driving style by adjusting shock rebound, droop, shock angle. i have yet to qualifiy out of the "A" with the box set up on asphalt. now carpet is a different story. you need to put a completly different set -up under the car. enjoy racing such a fine car
