That's cool, the shop opens at 10:00. If you come down 95s take 70w to 15n to 7th st. exit (only 3-4 miles on 15). You can see the Frederick Shopping Center to your left as you take the exit. We're next to Ames.

quick question: I got a belt tensioner, but i am not 100% sure how to install it. i currently have it set up on drivers right, on the rear right bulkhead, and its going through the hole near where the layshaft is (right infront of it, and a little below it i think), and it seems to be okay there, but is this the correct position for it? any help would be great thanks!

New suspension or the old style stuff? I am going to run the car as stock first indoor but is it worth me getting the new setup ready to fit? Thanks Rick

stormperson, That sounds like the same place I've got mine. Generally, I run the tensioner vertical (loosest position) because the during normal driving the belt is still very loose and free, but under braking the tensioner is close enough to the belt and the layshaft, that it limits skipping. Under extremely hard braking running mod, I can sometimes hear the belt skip, but the belt is still very free.

I am currently running a little conserivativly (sp, lol). I have been runnning tc3's for a little while now, so i might be slightly tight, but it didnt seem to affect how easily the drivetrain rotated when i tried to spin it, which wasnt that much, which leads me up to a question:
-how free are the draintrains when everything is broken in? my tc3 (with foam tires trued almost down to the rim) was able to spin for at least 5 seconds, and will rubber tires it was more like 15-20. i cant even get one rotation with foam tires, and albeit i have only run a pack or two.... but i noticed that the topshaft was kinda tight, but the entire rest of the drivetrain was very smooth, has anyone else noticed this?
-also is there any accurate way of measing the degree of the front sway bar? since its taking me a few tried to make sure both sides are even. and i would like a accurate way to measure how much angle i am actually running.
thanks!
