Have you tried this with a different servo or with the servo unhooked from the rest of the steering? Sometimes a servo will draw too much power and overwhelm the BEC circuit in the speed control, causing it to shut down.

They screw into the original parts. They just replace the one piece units. See attached photo's.
This is my MO5 Pro as I run now, Weighs in at 1350 gms, with battery and body and has 65gms of lead ballast. It has a ABR oil gear diff fitted using 500 000 weight oil. Other than that, all hopups are tamiya, except the outer motor heatsink, which is 3Racing. Our mini class weight limit is 1330gms ready to run. I do not mind taping the battery onto the mounts.
It has Ride 60D front tyres with Cross rears.

Thanks a lot for the help and photo's calvin. I just ordered them . Another question for ya, does that aluminum steering linkage and rod tighten up the steering? I have like a 1/2in of play in mine.

Yes the alloy steering rack does eliminate most of the steering slop. The one fitted to my car is the complete Tamiya set, which comes in three packets or you can purchase either the Yeah Racing or 3Racing versions. There is a Venom set which is just rebadged.
Never take all of the slop out of your mini or you will have an evil handling car.
I do rate the steering upgrade though.

Thanks again Calvin! I ordered the whole thing from Tamiya today. I hope I get it in and on by Saturday. We have a special event at my local track. We are going to do a 30 minute main where half way through we have to do a tire change and a driver change. Should be fun!
its gotta be easier...
I completed getting my mo6 pro put together, the camber is way off on the thing. I can adjust the front just fine but the rear end seams to be really busy were I should be adjusting the camber. What would be the easiest way to do this with out taking the camber rods off?

There's no good angle to adjust the rear links. I remove the rear shock tower to adjust the rear camber. If you keep popping off the links, the ballcups stretch and create more slop.
The camber should be close when assembled per instructions. Did you cut off 2mm for each ballcup for the front links? See top left pic on page 12.
