Josh....

If the bowling alley changes the oil on the lanes from 3/4 to about 2/3.... how many boards do you usually adjust to the left or right on your approach to make up for it? Thanks!!!

Just, curious when the new 1/10th scale car will be out and if there will be a conversion to turn it into a 235mm onroad car? The class seems to be taking off all over....

I run Asc 30wt in the rear and Asc 50wt in the front with the standard pistions (4 holes)!! Usually, softer set-ups are easier to drive and are more consitant. You have to remember - it is a TC and not a pan car - it is going to have some body roll.

doug - I currently use my CEFX 1/12 body, I run a Protoform Alpha on my TC, Delta Lola on my 1/8... Any classes you want to know other than those?

futureal - Yep.. still kickin!!

stefan - Thanks for the kind words and support on mytsn!! Also, thanks for the new contact!! I'm curious to do a bit of testing!!

429racer - Use lighter front shock oil, shorter front camber link.

Ray - The ackerman mod was to give more highspeed steering. It actually gives the car less ackerman.

TRL - I ran the exact same set-up from the Novak Race in Wisconsin. I still choose double pinks... I had bad luck in qualifying but if you take the several crashes with traffic out of my qualifier then I would have been 2nd or 3rd qualifier... I thought my car was extremely good... The CEFX car is delayed do to a few issues but I am doing all I can to get it out asap!!

Brian - Those were prototypes. I have a really good baseline now as to what I'm going to do to those cars to make production kits in the future... Those will come more towards the end of the summer (I think)...

peter - Just go to www.cefx.net and use the contact page. Write your question there and I will get it and reply.

CRASH - Are you running long wheel base? Did you grind off enough material?? We cut probably .125 off the a-arm....

nnick - The 1/12 body is already out as well as the body mask kits. We have a bunch of new products comming in the next 1-2 months so keep an eye out on our site - www.cefx.net
Oh and Josh You got mail

Default setup

I tried a softer setup with 33lb rear and 22.5 lb front springs. Also went to 60 front and 35 rear oils (all I had in oils) with no holes blocked

It pushed a little on corner entry so I shortened the front camber link a hole and it hooked up.

Felt the same as before when everything was working, but was more consistent in the race.

Thanks for the advice!

BTW, have you tried to tilt the front arms down ~3* with 6* caster blocks? It made a huge impovement in power off transition. - Not like you don't know what your talking about anyway!

The 1/8th scale bodies are available through Delta Inc., part nos. 12969 or 12971 (3 pack):

Greg - Umm, I dunno...lol.. I've had lots of e-mails lately...

Scott - Thanks!!

trackdesigner71 - It's been a long time...lol.. I just remember thick t-bar, .020 front springs, 3 degrees camber, 2 degrees castor, asc diff grease on the dampners....

CRASH - Yep, definatly have to drill the hole deeper!!

Matt04 - All of the Xray team has tested the al. vs plastic. We all like the plastic shocks better so that may be the reason....

F1junkie - That is CEFX's C-LMP675. I want to test with it a bit more (especially wing configurations) but hopefully we can have it out in a few months.

Jeff - If it's goes from 3/4 (75%) oil to 2/3 (66%) oil then I would probably move my feet 2-4 boards to the left and throw the ball out 1-2 board farther to the right. This allows for the drier lane conditions and more hook...lol...

NitroHead - A lot of the r/c guys bowl!! Kinwald, Baker, Burch, Scott, Wynn, and even Hodge sometimes!!

EddieO - No 1/10 car here (especially not a 235mm car)... I may make a 1/10 oval car but not without more testing...

Kraig - Yep, did you have an order in that I missed?? Things have been crazy so e-mail me and let me know!!

sands - Good to hear.. I haven't tried running kick-up or anti-dive in my TC yet... I'll get to that next time I go testing....

doug - Nice track!! I'll keep the race in mind, just ask me again more towards the May/June time....
