Josh, will your bodies be available from you or through distributors?

Jeff Werner.. I would try everything Josh listed there except the tires. The best combination for a good balance is Pink rears, Pink LF, and a Black RF. All JACO rubber of course.

Man looks like I will have to buy some tires to see which one of you is correct...lol

What tire dia do you guys recomend? This will be 4 cell stock or 19t.

Rear Wing Choices? I think the car has a pod mounted wing, do you usually run the body mounted type?

Thanks guys for all the help. Have not ran oval in a few years...my Hyperdrive 0500 car with Dillon Tweek system looks old now compaired to these new oval racers. Looking forward to running the oval again!

Josh you running Oval at the Birds and what car will you use?

Jeff

Darryl - LOL... Umm, somewhere I think...lol... I'll call the Chief and get it if I can't find it!!

Kraig - Right now, we are very small and just trying to learn all of this. We have set up our pricing and will just be selling to hobby shops. I will not be selling the bodies direct to people....

Bobby - ?? When have you beat me in oval racing?? J/K

Jeff - Give Bobby's tire set-up a try and see what you like better - I think the pink left front makes the car loose off the corner and the black right front pushes into the corner too much...lol.... I like running no bigger than 2.32 and no smaller than 2.18...... I think everyone uses the body mounted wings now - that's what I've run the last few times out. I will be racing oval and I have no clue what car!!

Josh,

Do you have a website?
Where can we see pics of the bodies?
How does a hobby shop get in-touch with you?

Thanks.

I haven't.. but the old man has! Anyways, thats the standard jaco setup for just about every flat track. I wouldn't expect you to know that since you were running those other things for so long.

[email protected] is how any hobby shop can contact me....

A pic would be cool. Is the sedan a Stratus type or Alfa type design or other?

Thanks again for the oval help.

Hey Josh, I told you that Im headin down to the 'Birds in February. Just look for the guy in the blue Superman shirt (I may also be wearing a bandanna).

Also, I dont know if you run Stock TC much but do you have a good way to setup the stock motor for that sort of a track?

Josh,

can you possible help with this, I know that my car is a Yokomo SD but I'm just curious if there a basic things to try if fix this type of situation.

Here's my set up:
Front:
shock: sss, 61.5mm, gray gt4 srping, trinity 50 wt, #3, out on stock tower, stk. on arm, droop: 6mm, .8 shim under front arm mount, spacer under steering spindel, camber: stk on carrier -middle, 2nd row middle
Rear:
shock: sss, 62.5mm, gray gt4 spring, trinity 45 wt, #3, up and out on tower, 2nd from hub on arm, droop: 4.5mm, no shims/spacers, camber: stock on hub, stock on tower

58.5 mm tires (28 mm wide) tan front (37) magenta rear (35), ride hgt.: front- just under 5mm, rear- 5mm (track min. 5mm), stock arm spacing 3/1 front, 2/2 rear, gm3 104/30, front diff tighter than rear (mod setting), camber set for even tire wear, proto alfa 2.0 small wing.

track size: 93' x 43'

I know that 51 asked you this before, but do you think that you can make to Az. for the REedy Crossover Challenge in Feb 21 & 22?

Thanks,
Eric

Jeff - When I get one painted I'll post it. The 1/12 will be first with the touring to follow in a few weeks (I hope)....

trackdesigner - Umm, for stock I usually just ran full brushes with purple springs. Sometimes I cut a little bit off the sides of the brushes. This helped the motor have less drag brake and run faster in the last minute of the race (less heat)....

Fike - I can see about the Crossover race but I won't know for a while. As far as your set-up I'm not really sure what you are asking me?? I have your set-up now but I don't really know what it all means or what you would like your car to do better. I'm just at a bit of a loss.... Explain, more info, please...
