here is Jaris A main setup from nats

http://molzermoweryracing.com/downlo...srubber135.pdf

I recommend in the gear on low bite even as thin as oneway lube, the diff will be very free and really help hook the car up.

What's up guys, finally got to run my S400 last night for the first time. The car worked awesome, really one of the best cars I've ever driven, and that's just on the first day. I'll try to post my setup in the next couple days, but there are a few changes I still need to make.

One note, and something you guys could try out. The car was double steering going into the high speed sweeper. Normally I'd just try more rear end pack in the shocks, but already had quite a bit. I cut out the top deck a little bit to allow the car to flex more, and the double steer went away almost completely, and the car was much easier to drive around the entire track, I'll get some pics up soon as well.

S400 Top Deck: It would be nicer to see Serpent working on a revised Top deck....2mm and narrower for more flex on asphalt racing

The cut I made in the upper deck didn't give the car more traction, it just made it a lot easier to drive..

I'm trying to post my setup that I used yesterday on the editable setup sheet on the serpent site. I'm on a mac, and I can enter text with no problem, but trying to select options like camber link location etc doesn't work. Anyone have an idea of how I can make it work so I can get the setup posted?

Randy - Try to update your version of acrobat reader. I just downloaded the sheet to my wife's mac and it worked good. I was able to select all the options.

Kschu= well, you will find the big difference between bl and brush. Bl is really great... Im waiting for my gear diff and I think the stock thrust bearing is the problem of ball diff loosening during races. But, I try to follow the way you set up your ball diff. Did you put some threadlock in your servo saver screw(countersunk) under the chassis to keep them from getting loose?

Sir Butter, thanks for the advised regarding gear diff. Our local track is a little tight with some good sweepers.
At the moment, were using a layout which is similar to the TITC in a certain extent and were running CCW...The guys here who went to Thailand proposed the TITC layout. My query is that, what could be the best diff oil viscosity range in this asphalt track?

I would have had everything up last night, but I'm just all out of order. The setup sheet didnt work on my old version of Acrabat, and the battery in my camera was dead, lol
