Henrik showing off the new LSF and some other goodies coming in the future....

Looks good Nick.. When do you think you will have the new steering in stock???

But I'm not sure if my ARC can get much better, it's been working great in USGT for me for the past few months.. . Won our 6race Porsche Cup series we had and TQ'd and won today in a field of 16 cars in USGT. Ohhhhh and another ARC finished 2nd in the series as well...

And I have a 2nd car coming for 13.5...

You will love it. Rear diff bearing carriers are an area to focus on during assembly to keep drivetrain free. Other than that and shock lengths, you should be good.

Hey guys,

I just bought one ARC R10 2015.

There are some advices for the building ?

I will race on asphalt outdoors. High bite tracks.

I'm new on touring competition cars.

Thanks a lot

Have a cup of coffee. Grab a pen and some paper. Start reading from page one of this thread. Take some notes. Lots of good tips and also try going to ARC facebook page.

Need some help. Can anybody tell me what part r105402 is. It is on page 5 of the 2015 R10 manual. It looks like a ball end that fits inside the steering ball joint. I cannot find this part at any distributor's web site.

It is a 3x4 grub screw. Also know as a "set screw". I want to say there is a little bag with a few extra screws and set screw in one of the last bags in the kit.

What that screw does is hold the outer hing pin in place. Keep building the kit and you might end up finding that part in the another bag. Everything in the box section of the manual is considered hardware. Screws and washers.

It's a set screw. Goes into the bottom of the caster block to hold the hinge pin in place.

Thanks Kody and Frank. I believe I was looking at the drawing wrong and for some reason thought it was some sort of bushing for the steering linkage.

Found the bracket suspension chart and realize the .5/1 refers to the positioning of the split bracket and the roll enter shim listed is correct. I thought the .5/1 referred to the shim under the split block.

Kit setup is a great starting setup for asphalt. Few small tweaks I'd recommend are HPI Silvers springs front/rear, AE 3 or 5k in gear diff and off you go! Top it off with a Blitz GSF body and its a super easy and fast starting point.

What surface and class will you be racing on? If your running stock classes I'd recommend Low friction belts and possible the LF pulley set to get that extra out of the drive train. For a little more steering over kit setup split blocks are a great option for the front. Also rear DCJ's to really make the rear rotate and carry corner speed.

For carpet check out my IIC setup. Its been a great starting point for many on US carpet tracks. http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/arc/...etsARCR10.html
I'll be running 13.5 on asphalt. How would you setup the split blocks front and rear with the kit setup or with Henrik's 13.5 setup? Thanks!

I'd say start with the front/rear blocks in the 1d so notch on the inside and the rear/front with the notch out so .5d less rear toe and a little wider in the rear

You can swap them around and see how the change feels for you and what you may like better..
