I'll do the body tommorow but this is as far as I am going to go till I get my electrronics.The build went along very nice but I have about 2.5 degrees of slop in the front knuckles that I need to eliminate.

I use the .010" shims out of #3911 assoc shim kit under the C-Hub bushings to take up that slop

Considering getting back into electric tc. the only difference between the 008 and the 009 is the anodizing and the top deck on the 009 is more lipo friendly correct?
I would be doing rubber on carpet so that means i want the euro kit right?

I sand the edges of the top decks and towers, less chance of splinters in the fingers and for the top deck to avoid chafing if the battery leads when rubbing on the edges. my $.02.. and also check and rechek the chassis adn top deck screws after acouple of runs, they tend to back out even with some light blue Loc-Tite.
But other than that have fun and you will be smilling ear to ear when it's dialed in

Whoever said xray instructions are the best lied!pics and pn's are all I see.Like when they have you build the arms the pins are shown with a pn but no measurments!I have a caliper and it would be easier to use that then examine the pics and refer to the parts list.
What? The xray instruction booklet is just awesome. They have "actual size" pictures of every single piece, great descriptions, awesome 3d cad pictures... a full and complete setup book.. the works. Nothing comes close to the Xray instruction book. If you're having problems... it isn't the book.

I thought my mugens mrx instructions were better.They had the sizes of everything right there beside the pic of the part with the pn too.But like I said earlier I must have just been mad and not looking at them good enough cause the next day I had no problems.Thanks for the tip with the shims that is exactly where the play is coming from and that should take care of it.

Picked up an T2 009 a few weeks ago, very good quality. Managed to squeeze in a lipo pack with the standard top deck, took some trimming of the lugs on the bottom.
The reciever has been pinched for use in my 808 for the last few dry races of the year. Need to get some JR connectors to shorten up the servo and esc leads.
Just finished adding 140g of weight to bring it up to 1500g, plus a bit for tyre wear.
Any good base setups I can try for rubber tyres on indoor carpet tracks and also outdoors.

T2r Pro
Looking to get into onroad racing. I happened to come across the T2r Pro. Just wanted some insight to see if this car is good for racing asphalt and carpet. I'm an experienced racer in offroad, but not really in onroad. So if somebody can give me some pro's and cons on getting this car. I would get the 009, but the car is to expensive for me.
