will the lipo conversion kit effect the handling the handling on rubber tires. I didnt know if it did because on rubber tires you want the chassis to do the work not the tires(unlike foams).

You want the suspension to do the work as well.

I would assume since the flex of the top deck is more in the center of the top deck vs the ends, adding the spacers wouldn't affect the flex much. Would add weight higher up though.

Does anybody knows if you can use the 007/008 springs (the coloured ones) on the 009? The springs in the kit are black with a tiny number on it. I can buy some coloured spring set, but just wonder if I can use them on the 009 shocks.

Thanx!

Yes, the springs are compatible.

Here is a chart showing how the black springs and coloured springs relate:

what they done is moved the motor up where the 007 is the 008 is back 009 is the same location as the 007 so,u will find the top deck is shorter than the 008..

On the EU kits as far as i am aware the motor position is the same as on the T2-008 there is a option which Xray will release soon that will allow the motor position to be moved more toward the centre of the chassis. The option will include New belts and Top decks. Jurai Hudy talks about this in this months Xray coloum about the World Championships

Cheers

I've lined all 3 cars up and the 008 and 009 stock motor positions are the same. The guys with the silver parts on the 009 like the hexes are just using older items that haven't been made available in orange yet, but not a special piece, just a option piece.

How are you guys liking the 09? Asphalt, Carpet. Where are you running it?

Im in the market for a new TC, and im looking at a few cars. I know Xray is nice and durable. Im not to into the color, but I will just send my stuff off and get it anodized black, or red.

I agree on the color. When you see the orange in person it is much brighter than it looks in pictures. It really stands out and actually looks good.
