The new colour makes it easier to see the notches for diffs.

Im in the market for a new TC, and im looking at a few cars. I know Xray is nice and durable. Im not to into the color, but I will just send my stuff off and get it anodized black, or red.
I will say this my 008 top deck is longer than I will not say who X persons "pro" top deck

As you can tell, blacked out is how I do it LOL so thats how it will go if I do get one.

Seems like Xray really shines on carpet compared to asphalt?

Im sure it does look pretty nice. But they call me BlackedOut for a reason

Mine is great on asphalt. I would say my asphalt setup for it so far it as good if not better than my carpet one.

Might be a few pics from the worlds but I didn't see any good ones like we see from Marc all the time. My paint scheme is basically just like his.

Thanks!!!
low traction, the car understeers in, slides through the corner, and is loose out.. high traction cars turn in nicely, great corner speed, and sometimes traction roll..

What he said. And this is measured from your same base setup that you should always start with from track to track. This makes it easier adjust your setup. The base carpet and base asphalt setups are good to start with.

Nexus is where I bought my 009........This car is awesome and I applaud xray for all there innovations however I have found one small thing that has irritated me....The Lab covers from the diffs will not crossover from the 007 to the 009..Which stops you from just purchasing the longer 009 outdrives...This wouldnt normally upset me but I like probably most have a TON of parts and I have about 10 extra 007 diffs and extra lab covers...If anyone knows a way to adapt these please let me know since there out of stock at nexus and thats my favorite place to shop....

I purchased a lipo plate from RC America and dremeled off the bumps on the bottom of my Orion 3800 lipo pack. For the 008 I had to dremel off a little groove for the top deck to clear. The nice thing about the 009 is that I didn't have to mill out the top of the pack for deck clearance. Just the bottom and the battery fits perfect. 009 is good and also took first on it's first day out. Thanks X-ray...
