A bit contradictory message you put up there. U say the car picks up - does that mean the car is running? If it is running how can you tell if the shaft stop moving? If you are holding the car and reving it, and the shaft don't move and your pinions are moving then it means your front and rear diff are not screwed in properly. The manual set up is front diff 1/4 turn and rear 1/2 turn. If your car moves very slowly at high rev then it confirms that your diffs are not screwed in properly. If the standard set up don't work that means your spring is out of whack so you need new springs
I was driving it up and down my street and noticed that even though i was pressing the throttle nothing was happening. so i went over to the car (which had stopped by this time) and started reving it up and thats when i noticed that the pinion and spur gear was moving, but nothing else (shaft, wheels.) I have done rebuilds before and this is the first time it has done this. I also held it up off the ground and it did the same thing. I will take it apart and start from scratch then. thanx for the help.

A buddies car did the same thing last weekend. Took the one way out, cleaned it, lubed it, put it back in, works fine now.

Default 2-spd problem

It sounds like the problem that I had. I was setting the car up for a short track that does not need the second gear. I did not have it adjusted right. When I would be driving the car would "slip" and I would not go anywere in the middle of a race. When the rpms came back down it would go again for a while.

Yes, the first #2033 kits arrived today. Not the carbon parts though. We only noticed these partnumbers when opened the 2033 box. The earlier mentioned # numbers (from AE) where for the upcoming new standard V2 kits and RTR-Plus that doesnt have the carbon versions as in Factory Team Nitro TC3 #2033.
