Mod complete...Front shocks lowered by 10mm and rear shocks lowered by over 17mm: now that's performance in design.....

Too bad I could not make it to wagner park this year....

The new Wagner layout looks very challenging...

Another great anti vibration mod for the ntc3 is to put a very small layer of thermal gap filler pad between the motor and the mounts... It will reduce chassis vibrations a bit and increase heat dissipation between the motor and the chassis: the ntc3 should handle a bit better after that....

Lost another 5grams off the two speed... Only 24grams left to lose on axles/dcj's/flywheel, but durability might suffer...

I think that serpent Gt car is nice, but based on a heavy drivetrain design to deal with all that engine torque, which does not exist in the ntc3. I have maxxed out all the possible durable upgrades in the ntc3, and I am ready to test at Wagner when they finish prepping the track....I should podium every week....lol...
Non durable upgrades:
#1: titanium axles & dcj bones(saves 9grams)...
#2: shaved three shoe flywheel(saves 4grams)...
#3: aluminum clutch nut(saves 2grams)...
#4: titanium two speed shaft(saves 5grams)...
#5: aluminum brake cup pins(saves 4grams)...
#6: drilled gears(saves 2grams)...
#7: drilled two speed housing(saves 1gram)...
#8: aluminum front input shaft(saves 2grams)...
That would be a total of 29grams taken off my already light ntc3. The total clutch weight would go down to 26grams versus the stock 42grams(current weight 32grams)....The total two speed weight would go down to 35grams vs 54grams stock(current weight 47grams)....
With all these mods, there would be almost 70grams less weight in the ntc3 drivetrain compared to the lightest belt car out there right now(current difference is 50grams): AE needs to re-release an updated ntc3....
