They do surprisingly well actually, but it is still recommended you try the Aluminum outdrives. They won't melt or get really funky if your diff heats up a lot from improper adjustment.

you might be running it to loose, so it loosens it self more easily, also if the thrust bearing assy it gritty or worn at all it will loosen, dont use them caged thrust bearings on the old style diff they are crap and loosen, use alum outdrives(No flex or chance of distortion when running mod)

Also try some Thread lock on the nut went assembling.

threadlock the nut.... build it slightly loose in your hands, then twiggle it by hand for a few seconds to let all the parts seat down properly, and then tighten it properly

I had some interesting issues with my diff a few weeks back (read some pages back)... but once the thrust bearing was changed (seems that the one I had in the pack was a lemon) and the thing broke in (say half a pack) this is as good as any other car's diff this side of a hudy one, even after about 30 packs. It's great to spend time setting the car up between runs now instead of rebuilding the diff

Wet-sanding the rings with motor spray is always a good idea nonetheless

use these things, they will keep your diff smooth for a long time. http://www.top-racing.jp/showProduct...&ProductID=207

This drive shaft appeared on this thread a while ago... people were asking if it would fit on the Cyclone TC... I searched but could not find the answer... does anyone know if this will work ?

I can't... 2 good reasons for that
- I run a Hara Ed which is slightly different from a WCE, plus there are some custom mods on mine
- this would require I purposedly strip the car off of any electronics... which I don't want to do and I'm afraid this will be the case for most of us

Checking the manufacturer's is your best bet
