We are using the 17.5 Justock which is very comparable to a 21.5 without all the motor war fanfare. We are basically following what the NYGP did (fixed timing 72/40, rubber tires). This class, for us, is designed as a stepping stone for 17.5 Stock on foam. A place where newbies can come in, learn basic setup and decide if they want to step up with the big boys. Very fun racing.

I'm guessing nobody runs on asphalt (or sealed concrete) is why I'm not getting any suggestions for tire diameter for GT12. Can I assume it's the same as for LMP12 and that around 42 to 44 will work?

Hey Mike
I am not sure every ones is running FT motor or something ..I like to use up my 25.5 motor out of my Scale Spec and the 2S esc. I am sure everybody do have them spare in their pit box just sitting just my .02

Our GT12 is:
1S
USGT motor
SJT tires
Fixed 72/56 gearing
We agree on a breakout lap time before the race day starts.

The breakout is what makes it fun for us.

We only race foam here in Fla with any 21.5 motor and any gear ratio. We will help anyone out- all you have to do is ask us. As for tire size out doors I run my CRC tires right out of the package. (44mm)& Sometimes 43mm. I race on parking lot (Flagler) and Valkaria (home of the 2022 Nationals) .and indoors at Beachline (39-41mm).

Did they stop running electric at the Fort? Or are you just not a part of it? That's 1 paved track that the rubber tires might hook up on 🤣

Glenn, I am cut to 42.5 and 43. But I will put the next set at 43 and 44... At this point I have to borrow a tire cutter, but will be trying the Purple/Purple spec when I get a chance. I have a set of the Contact Black spec but they are cut super low... The fronts are good, the rears not so. But the Contact Black is a very long wear, so the fronts could be part of a combo.

I have not raced at the Fort for years. The State series raced there for two years but not this year. Me , I race at Valkaria (Home of the 2022 Nationals) Flagler Rc (parking lot) and Beachline (Carpet). Maybe Hero's in the future .

Running the Agata with the same track width and the body just fits over the tires so take care drilling the body post holes.

Thanks for the feed back.
Looks like most bodies are made for BRCA rules.

I'm currently running the Bitty 720, and it does fit flush with the wheels, although, I'm running a Schuie Eclipse which runs a bit narrow out of the box.
