change to the spool and it will shorten up the rear so the wheels fit inside of the body.

Doing that will also drastically change the handling characteristics.

Wider Track Width: Both front and rear. The wider the car, the less lateral weight transfer and the less traction rolling you will have. In High bite conditions, you want to run wider. An added benefit of the wider rear is that it will put more leverage on the side springs making them act softer.

Default Gt12 gears options

Hey guys, I’ve been racing gt12 on rubber for awhile. We run 1s,usgt motor, sjt, fixed gearing... anyways we’re looking at splitting the class by doing a fixed gear class and open gear class and using the fixed gearing more like a sportsman/ newer drivers.. I’m looking for a good place to start gearing wise. Thanks

That depends mostly on the track & motor, we run on a black CRC carpet medium size track 21.5 motor rollout of 82.7 to 86.4
Tire dia. (41) x pinion (45-47) x 3.14 / 70 (spur) = rollout (your performance may vary) 😅

We use that same USGT spec motor on the rubber tires. This will sound crazy but my current gearing is 63 pinion, 67 spur. The track is 90 x 40.

Hi, what is a fixed gearing class? Does everyone need to run the same tooth pinion & spur?
