Evo2 Lower front Arms
I bought a new Evo2 two weeks ago, and am having problems with the front lower arms. The pillow ball screws bend back in the arm after contact..The spacing on the new arm is 6mm where the T1 was 3.5mm. upon inspectiopn of rhe arm there is a cavity in the arm where the pillow ball screws in, and it appears that only about 50% of the thread is actually in the arm. I'm very surprised that no one else has noticed this. My T1 has never had this problem(it has 2.5mm more thread in the arm). I put the T1 arms on my Evo2 untill This problem is remedied. I have been racing for 20 years so I'm not just some hack that goes from one board to the next.

I noticed this cavity also, i assumed it was so that you could narrow the car for additional steering, although this is not possible as the same treatment was not done on the top arm.
I have not noticed them bending back though. But we dont run on tracks with pinned boards.

I too had the same problem. I used the T1 arms and that took care of it. To be honest, I was happy with the T1 arms anyway so I'll stick with them. I think the EVO arms are alittle shorter then the T1 arms.

Fiddle faddle? (Dave?) DId you pull the arms off of your T1? I think I have a spare set if you need any.

Tate, thanks for the offer of the arms. I do have a spare pair to race.
We are racing at Westminster this weekend since Ft Collins won't be racing this weekend.

Question, what is the degree of toe-in on the rear with the C-hub kit?? Also what is the caster on the front??? I have the complete kit at the shop plus the matched springs. What a great price too.

I found the caster for the front. It's 3 degrees.
Anyone know what the toe-in is??

You can change toe in with the clips included. Roughly: 0 degr. (no clips) 1 (1mm clip), 2 etc. It's in the building info!
The caster is indeed 3 degr., that is if you have the C hubs in the right way and 0 degr. kick up! With 3 degr. the total caster will amount to 6 degr. caster. If you change the C blocks, you can reduce it to 0!

So switching the blocks side to side will change the caster from 3 to 6 degrees???

HTRacer:
Rear toe is as indicated above, based on the shims added to rear of arm.
Front: blocks are 3 degrees.
Using 3 degrees anti squat position yeilds 6 degrees.
Placing the left block on the right and the right on the left side and zero anti squat gives 0 caster.

I am having major problems with duration on my t1, i am not sure if its the speedo or the car. I dont think its the car as its very very free but my speedo is a vega digital speedo and i think it cud be this. Has anyone else ever used this speedo? What speedo does everyone else use? I am possibly going to get a LRP Quantum pro or a nosram dominator what does everyone think of these? Thanks Rick
