Silly question, but does the T2'008 US edition perform the same on rubber and foam tires or is it specifically for foams? I was browsing the optional parts and noticed they have a chassis for rubber tires but not sure why i would want that.

The US edition will perform better with foams. The only reason that someone would buy the rubber chassis is if they don’t want to but a whole new car for rubber tire racing (I believe the rear belts and arm stifness are different too). Buy the chassis for the type of racing you most likely will participate in.

Thanks Steve. This electric stuff is way too complicated... Since I'm new, the options go back and forth between rubber and foam. I would prefer to run rubber because of cost and the available outdoor track, but I think the indoor carpet will be foam. Maybe I'll just stick to nitro for outdoor warm weather. Opps...thinking out loud, I have some deciding to do.

I recently put the new aluminum shock kit on my 08. First time around they built and bled perfect. Since then I apparently tossed out the instructions to these new shocks. Now Im trying to get propper reboud after changing the oil and its a no go.

Anyone else ran into this?

Anyone still have their instructions for the bleed proccess?

True, but bleeding procedure and rebound setting should be the same by loosening the lower cap etc...

A little off topic, but I also wanted to subscribe to this thread. Thomas P, are you going to be at the 1/8th buggy Worlds in Charlotte this week?

Just wondering if the new Xray T2'009 is in the works already? Any pics or rumors?
