I have a question on shock length. When I built my G+, I threaded the shock shafts with about three threads visible on the shaft. Then I adusted the spring collars to get just put tension on the springs. Do you guys normally screw the shock shafts all the way with no threads showing as a starting point? Or do you have them turned out a turn or two from full lock?

It's best to ditch the crappy droop screws and then just adjust droop with shock length...

Cardboard: I go to SouthShore Hobbies Raceway in Coram, NY. It's one of the best carpet race facilities in the east coast. They are holding the regionals in Oct.

Come on down some day. Check out the schedule at: www.southshorehobby.com

Thanks James N. for the input. Going to put some serious testing tomorrow night. That day can't come fast enough

Oh ye of too much faith. I only remember some slot car tricks that seem to work on these Monsters. Everyone else seems to know so much more about these tin can motors.

And I just wanted to concentrate on my driving...He, he...
