Yeah, I agree. After that they wear to fast and turn greasy really quick. If you can find some take off's preglued 32 those work great for the hotter stuff. But, Try last years reedy race setup with a spool on the losi site. Seems to work fairly well.

Advil would never turn to the dark side! He just runs an antiquated shaft car!

BTW there were a couple guys running CS22's last weekend in 95 degree weather with the track temp about 135-140.Depends on your setup and Track surface. They were hooked up.Winner of Mod and Stock ran these so the rule doesnt always apply.

The track temp is around 140F in the middle of the day when we are qualifying. Unfortunately, the NORRCA nats are going to be in early August at this track and are going to be on CS-27.

Too hot... too bad...

I have gone down to red springs in the front and pink in the rear.

Front: 4 hole, 0F, 40Wt, 56, Arms middle, -1 camber, 0 toe, droop 2mm
Rear: 3 hole, 2R, 40 Wt, 55, Arms back, -1 camber, 2 toe, droop 2mm

5mm ride height, electronics stacked like Todd's on carpet setup.

It still pushes like a sled at lower speeds. Car seemed inconsistent down below that spring rate. I went as low as pink front, yellow rear.

I am open to any suggestions from others in hot climates on what to do with CS-27's. Any ideas on traction compounds? Setups?

The track gets a decent groove around 5pm, but its really slick asphalt in the day. Its a permanent track, and no sugar water or other compounds are used.

Well, it is pushing going into the corner , mid corner or exit? I think it might be a weight transfer problem, so you could always go to a 55 piston up front, so the front end will dive a bit and allow more weight transfer to the front. You could also lengthen the rear shocks a hair, so when hitting the brakes or letting off the throttle in a tight corner, it would let the weight be transfered to the front giving a more direct feel. I probably wouldn't put any traction compound on the tires, because it might overheat them since it breaks down the rubber, but I haven't been using traction compound on my tires untill recently. Try adding soem anti-squat in the rear too, it will help it rotate a bit better off power and still hook up when you roll on the throttle (nice for a slicker track). Hope this helps ya out.

Let's all post pics of the our cars. I'll start, but stuff in the pic has changed, I now run a 9550 servo, MC800C Speed control, Airtronics radio gear, Banzai motors, and Kinetix batts.

Sushi: The push is going into the corner. The softer I went the more turn-in I had in the higher speed areas, but the car felt inconsistent. I am going to move up to the most consistent setup (lap time wise), and work from there. Good stuff in your notes. I am going to add this info to my notes and give it a try. I will let you know how it works out.

Oh forgot, you could also give putting a tad of kickup in the front. That will also let weight be transfered to the front.

I was thinking that they were not going to include the belt in the g+ kit, but if someone knows differently they can speak up.
