I would expect the Horizon site to update that they are in stock then. I will be checking my LHS later today to see if they got them in!

Tough Kevlar gears are good! Who cares if they're noisy.

binary - I'm a confused 20 year old who gets into trouble all the time...you're asking the wrong person, LOL.

Casper - I haven't heard anything. It's an electric car...

I figured you would know something since the HRH shootout is coming up. You usually play with us flashlight guys for that race while you wait for rut rut. You going to that race this year?

The meaning of life is 42? That's more confusing than searching for the answer...

Casper - I'll be at the Shootout, for sure!

Losi generally ships them so that they arrive on both coasts on the same day. From what I've heard, shipping started this Monday, so people have been speculating Thursday on the shelves.

Is there a simple method of removing glued tires from a set of rims, or is it standard practice for those who race often to keep buying new rims along with their tires?

I tried baking them in the BBQ in the back yard and that worked really well. Heat to about 400 and then set them in with the oven/BBQ off and let 'em sit for a while. Breaks the glue down nicely. Careful on the oven though...they stink when baked...lol.

Acetone works AWESOME for me. Depending on the glue used, some tires just fall right off after being soaked for 1 hour and some need 24 hrs and a little tugging...

for the tire removal...cut the tires off till only the glued parts of rubber from the tire are sticking to the rim (so cut off everything except for the sidewalls..) and soak them in acetone..most people just soak them in acetone, and the rubber should come right off with a slight pull..like killer said...also depends on what glue was used...if u used really strong glue..it will be alot harder to take off unlike the glue i use..and i get it from the 99 cent store. ROFL! the glue works great though for only a buck!

rgb - Looks like killer89 got that taken care of.

I've heard of the oven trick...personally, I've only ever used acetone to re-use old rims. However, it is (or should be) standard practice to replace rims that are tweaked, bent, or otherwise beat up.

What works best for me is boiling them in water.

Anyone know if a BK2 front shock tower will fit on an XXX-T MF2? I was thinking of installing a BK2 body but it appears I need the BK2 shock tower and some rear posts.
