Make sure you're not mistaking belt-drag with the brake-pad problem.....check for brake drag with no-belts around the main shaft pulleys....

It's not too difficult...use coarseer sandpaper laid on ahard surface and move the pad across it to get it flat when you get finished dremel-ing...

Default Re brakes

You should also check that the metal that you are sticking the brake pads to are flat mine where not as they are only punched out in the first place.
Put them in a vice and make sure thet are flat then glue on the brake pads and put them back in the vise and tighten while the glue dries. Then sanding is minor.
But scince have gone to teflon brake pads and the 1 piece brake disc off the mrx3 .
It is the way to go

Slide the sway bar right out to the stops in the plastic holders

Make sure ithe bars are not touching end to end inside the ball and cup.

No, I don't believe the main lay shaft is titanium. Not a big deal when start comparing the weight of the shaft compared to the brake disk that came with the prospec.

My binding problem solved itself. It was binding this morning but when I showed it to my friend, it was no longer there.

Any opinions what shock pistons to use? I have the stock ones, 1.2, and 1.3 pistons on hand. I'm running on a parking lot track. I was considering 1.2 all around.
