Mugen MTX-3

I've got a small problem with the prospec. How much do I need to sand down that teflon brake pad to keep from binding when everything is tightened down?
I don't have any problems when the rear bulkhead is off the chassis, but have problems when it is attached and tightened down. I also had some problems with the right rear bulkhead holes alignment with the chassis holes.

The teflon pads do not need to be sanded.
About the alignment of holes, you can't fully tighten the cross member & other connecting parts first, then try to align the entire set onto the chassis.
You have to tighten it lightly, then once you get it aligned on the chassis, tighten it completely.

any ideas on where the binding of the system is? I believe it is the at the pad due to the brake disk that is included with the prospec.
HI! I was just wondering was there problem with the old fuel tank design on the Mtx-3 because Mugen came out with a new one on the Prospec? Thank!

I had to sand my teflon pads. I had definite binding until I sanded them.

First you should pack the diff with those high temp anti wear grease or lube. The reason to it is the negative diff kind of act like the best of both world, a very loose diff while you are making a turn and solid axle while it is under power and get the power down on the ground before you enter the straight.
I would suggest stay away from lightest diff oil(those silicon one) since the diff is working much more harder then regular diff because you will be running light weight stuff in there!)
