I have used the R/DLogics unis. they work great. You can get them on sale on E/Bay for $35.00 or so for all 4.

I use a cifarelli blower and coke to get decent grip. and the nice thing is that we can change the layout when desired.
anyone has tried the rd logics universals?
thanks
330 is still outrageously long!!

The RD ones are okay, but if you want to be safe, get the Mugen ones. They are more expensive for a good reason.

I've used the RDL for almost 6 mos. and they show no wear at all and not bent. Although I did go through some front outdrives.

I was looking at one by Ofna, never heard of Q-World. Now I'm thinking about to get the Team Magic X5.

Ofna is an north american distributor, they don't make anything. Q world is one of the brands that is distributed by OFNA, same goes for Hong Nor and Ho Bao.

I have heard the TM starterbox is good as well. You can't go wrong with either, they are all good. Go with what you think looks good.

I've used 'em all, and broken them all.

I ran the RDLogics in the rear for about 3 mo. and thought they were fine till I had to replace a rear lower sus. arm. They were about to come apart. the pins holding the center part in the bearings were all worn out. One of those lucky finds.

wish mip makes some universals for the mtx3 since they are all rebuildable, anyway at least front universals should do it, if! my mtx3 has the mt12, can you switch its head to turbo, like my sirio evo. if so any performance gain? read somewhere that turbo gains up to 10 percent.

Exclamation 3-Racing Universals

Everyone bashes the 3-Racing Universals but I've only broken one in 6 months of racing, and that was when I clipped a barrier on a top speed sweeper. I also tore off my Upper and Lower arms so it wasn't a soft hit. I think those people that call them so cheap need to stop crashing so much.

And even if they're not the same quality as the Mugen Uni's you can get them here http://www.jplracing.com/shop/ for $11 a pair. Even if they don't last as long you can still get 3 pairs for the cost of one of the "better" quality ones.
