After about 3 gallons runs and races, here is my list of replacement : (but I didnt do it)
- All belts
- All pulleys, except diff
- Worn rear diff axle.. (Julius/Rene ??)
- RR lower right arm (stripped thread)

(I only did this replacement)
- 3x stripped 1st spur (wrong adjusment)
- 2x upper and lower bumper plate, I end up with trimming LOLA bumper(705) to fit my TC shell.
- RR shocktower

Here, the racing level (not the driver) is so high thats why I should kept my car in top performance.
But now I already sell my car and build a new one, coz Im2lazy for those rebuilding stuff.

If you race the car 3x in a months you will see that this is a perfect weapon for you. Believe it or not after 3 gallons i have not rebuild any ball bearings yet ! I only maintain the centax and 2 spd bearings.

No cyba, D, I just find it cheaper in the long run. Maybe I need to improve my driving too but I do race as much as I can and with that comes rapid wear and tear.

Woi! You forgot to say a "Slow & Steady dinosaur without the L-plate!"

I bought my first nitro car (I won't say which model ) in Dec. 2000 and then upgraded to the Streetspec in Jan the following year. I started with electrics a loooong time ago but found that it was way too expensive to stay really competitive.

Is that at the outdrive part where the dogbone is? Or is the wear at the side where the bearing spins?

I have seen on the 705 when the rear dogbone is not properly fitted in, it can cause the rear dogbone to slip out a little and cause damage to the outdrive. But on the 710, this should not be a problem as the rear dogbone fits in nicely...

Same here. I need to changet the rear lower arm (left) because the threading at the pivot ball is not good anymore. This is after an accident when the pivot ball went into the threading of the rear lower arm.

I've ran close to 2 gallons or so. I'm happy to report that my belts and pulleys are still as good as new. No play in the pulleys and their aluminum pulley adaptors.

That was the first part I replaced on the car !

Same here. All bearings so far so good. I just clean them externally with a brush and the ever dependable Serpent cleaning gum after every outing.

That is so true. Especially with the current price of the kit, you basically get back if you start calculating the major parts and the extras you get for free !

I know all about that. When I started with 200mm our club rules were set that we would keep the class restricted to likes of HPI, Thunder Tigers, etc.

So, I got the Racer 2 from superior hobbies in Florida with the upgrade gearbox and got ready to race. Within 2 weeks the rules had changed to allow any car, any engine and foam tires. Now I had blown all that money on a car that went from best of the pack to back end marker. lol.

Car didnt even get a run before it was sold and I got a decent car.
