Was there a special 198 Vegas version or something like that? Something that was closer to the timing advance of the 203? I have to use v200 or less.. and I have burned up a motor using 200. Don't like it. Anyone have this special 198 version to download? It is not the same 198 as in the new hotwire software, that I do know.

What in the world are you running? The newest version [203] has the broadest setup/gearing "sweet spot" to date that I've run.

200 was fast but could be touchy when it comes to being fast without burning up
198 was quick, but pretty narrow on setup to keep heat under control
189 was quick, but you'd better temp often and adjust quickly to keep the heat down
183 is pretty much a no-brainer on setup, but a lot like a GTB when it comes to stock class power

yes. you hardly have any timing. what yoou have is a bunch of turbo.. set the timing to more like 40-45 and the turbo to more like 10.. then when you recalibrate your speedo after applying the settings, set your epa to 90% of full, calibrate, then turn it up to 100%... also your not showing an end rpm and your start is a wee low..

Yes there was it was 199 it allowed you to go to 45 timing boost but it was ony to the team and a few let it out it got revised and became 200.

200 was just as good as 199. as a matter of fact, i liked 200 better. it was fast when you had the right setup for the motor and the track

thats cause you guys have all those great outdoor tracks. we just got carpet. and well, the setup for a 1/12 is much easier then a tc when you gt low to med grip carpet. with those track you guys got, you want something that can strech it's legs.

does the motor have adjustable timing? i run redlines
I could run faster than the settings above
there is a huge difference between ramp 2 & 3. I would never run ramp 1, not even offroad, especially not with 17.5 .

Basically with the setttings you want as aggressive as you can get away without blowing the motor.

settings above are ok except for
timing 50-55
ramp 3
delay 0

now your rockin

watch your temps, if temps are below 160f, drop your end rpm for more punch.
