As far as the motor mount is concerned, it's best to find a good support for the motor, or at least get some dense foam to put under there.

Just my $.02

I put a support under and stripped the bottom motor screw out of the motor first run.

I work too much to get "test days" to figure stuff out. I watch what others faster than I are doing and try that for an event.

I have the front plate and brace as well as the rear lower front arm cnc part, all for durability. I don't like that the rear brace is bending screws and eating the motor mount so I went back to plastic on it.

I am trying some very different stuff with setup right now and the car is very hard for me to drive, I was going a very different way but was plateaued. Once I decide what I can use and get a better sense of what changes do Im sure I will like it better.

Taking the flex out of the rear was not a good thing for me, I like it when it moves.

To use other wings you will have to get the optional wing mount. part 89032. The stock wing/mount is all in one.

Don't know about better fitting, but the JConcepts Illuzion body looks FAR better than the stock one. Some extra trimming as it was originally designed for the nitro version, but it fits fine.

i figure someone here should be able to answer my question

my local hobby shop (hobby habit, australia) i believe are the Hobao australian distributor, or at least a major stockist. they sell the H9E.

does the H9E use a mod 1 pitch, 5mm pinion?
i need it for my tekin T8 motor, and something like this id rather get locally and not worry about when i will receive it

cheers!

Yes Mod 1. Stock pinion is 5mm.

so far, the best fitting body I have seen is the one made for the VE8. JConcepts also has a very nice one they made for the VE8 that should work too. These should work excellent in combination with the Tekno mudguard mod.

Just make sure you cut the body long on the sides before trimming it up as the body lines on the sides need to be ignored.

I really like the Proline body, crowd pleaser. I have the mud flaps and it is velcro'd to the sides of the chassis. Looks good and seals it up nice.

Another action shot at Revelation Raceway in CA. I have an aftermarket J Concepts wing on it as well.

Default Nice lid!

Wow! Incredible paint job there Kevin. I just joined the H9e family. I bought mine used on ebay. It looks to be in great shape I ordered a bunch of new parts for it (proline crowd pleaser body included) and hope to get it dialed in asap with a little help from HH. Thanks in advance HH.
