Hi,

today i received my XeRun 150a + 4274sl (2000kv) combo. I've just finished installing everything. The cables are a bit on the long side, i will shorten them in the near future. I managed to install the 14T pinion without making the motor touch the cup of the center differential.

The car, ready to race, weights 3.765kg with 2x 2s 5000mah 25c hardcase lipo.

Just to drive the wife crazy i tried it in the hallway and at low speed the esc feels smooth and is not cogging.

Now i just have to wait for it to stop snowing...

Which is the most needed/suggested mod? Titotime's rear brace mod ora motor support?

Mattia.

Thanks Jon9E.
I think that's the right part, in the states it's 29032 as shown here:
http://www.nitrohouse.com/catalog/pr...ducts_id=20221

The motor support is home made, low tech but functional and no cost.

I used the hard plastic handle from a small wire brush. It had curved indents (the finger grips) on it that gave me the idea. I found a drum sander the diameter of the motor can and opened the indent up to perfectly fit the motor. A bit of sanding on the backside until it wedged beneath the motor perfectly, drilled and tapped beneath to use the stock mounting holes to hold it in place.
