It would be nice if all those new cool parts come as an "UP-GRADE PARTS SET". I wouldn't know how the difference is in the track between what is on the current MSX now, but it looks cool, haha

Do you think the steering rack requires a new mounting location in the chassis and top deck...looks to me as if the exisitng steering rack holes may work...I can't see Tamiya releasing a new steering rack which requires a new chassis and top plate...especially since they just released the 4mm chassis for carpet racing. Just a thought?

The new steering does require a new chassis and top deck, if you have a close look at it you'll realise it's located much further back compared to the old steering.
Ed : to me it don't look like new bulkheads, more like a new metal plate with heatsink like that of the cyclone hara version. It would be quite difficult to make the bulkheads lower since there have to be some material go over the battery and at that point it looks like the same as the MSX.

I'll tell you what looks different in those bulkheads : the layshaft seems a tad higher which would allow the use of bigger spurs. That would go along with using bigger centre pulleys, to allow for decent fdr for mod racing.

please give me an idea what suspension blocks would be good to have for tuning. I only run outdoor rootbeer sauced smooth unsealed asphalt using rubber tires, sorex 32r but mostly 36r. 19t only. speedworld raceway, if you know it:116'x62'
