A Berry six pack F1 link. Has a nice ring to it. It would be pretty cool if there was a vintage F1 class for people to run. It would be something different for sure. Heck, the 1/10th Vintage Trans Am Series ( touring car platform ) sure has become popular everywhere. Wouldn't it be really cool having 7 or 8 six wheelers with P34 bodies racing together on the same ozite for the F1 enthusists. And with the way mine handeled back in the day..........OMG!! I think I'll ask Brian to do up the Carbon Fiber parts in Catia like my original 6 wheeler but a link version. Oh Boy!! Another car project. I'll have to get started on the clay for a new P34 body. Just think.....I could have a P34 conversion kit lets say based off of the 200mm WGT platform. Brushless/Lipo. Now the wheels are turning ........all 6 of them!! Looks like I have a lot of work ahead of me. I'm pretty sure I could pull this thing off. And you would be my 1st customer.

Tell Lou I said hi. I'll post a pic of my " Vintage Tyrell 6 wheeler " for you soon.
It's really going to bring you back. I still have the 6 cell SCR's taped in the car, LOL.

He had a Canadian Tamiya TCS Race two weeks ago so there is some interest in Formula 1 again. In Canada they still allow F103 205MM Cars which run heads up with the F104 180MM Cars. I'm trying to get Lou to run a Vintage 205MM F1 Class using basic TCS Rules and then have a Modern 180MM F1 Class using F104 based cars with 17.5 Brushless Motors with 1 Cell Lipo. I'm building an Exotec option car to play around with.

Maybe you should get into the F1 Business with a Berry Six Pack F1 Link. I'll take one. Talk to you soon.

How about posting a picture of your six wheeler with the body on?

Big Wig,

Thanks for linking that video; I would love to see that car built!! I've been following F1 since the early 60's and would love to see some 1/10 rc F1 cars from that era. Plus, I liked some of the different ideas displayed in the overall chassis design and layout. Very nice!

WOW, MR.SCOOBY IS THE GREATEST F1 RACER OF ALL TIME

(I am just glad I am considered one of the regions 35 best f1 racers.)

On a serious note, his car looked real good (tight carpet track with good grip) and he drove tight lines all day. Maybe you can post your Horsham setup Scoob (larger high grip carpet with high speed corners)? Might help the Exotec folks get their rides dialed in.

Had my 6 wheeler out last Sunday.
Was surprised to see how well it handled.

Still need to finish the rear wing.

Looks real good. Is that a Tamiya re-release? If it is, just curious what is the rear tire width dimension?..........seems to be a concern to some.

It's the 1 run re-issue (2000 ish) with the newer (current issue) 1976 body.

That series came with the same rubber rear tires that come on the 104w (wolf ect.) cars.Don't know about the current p34 but think it would be the same.

I am running option front foams and rear hbr 103 foam.

Current (1976) kit has same chassis and parts as previously rereleased (1977) kit, only noticable difference is the older style but now Lexan shell.

Now who is going to make the Lexan 1977 shell ?
