I am running a 9t on my chassis on foam tyres, first 3 runs in 2 days i lost the cvd connector. A friend advise me that i should run diffs upfront to avoid that since theres too much traction that the threadlocked pin connector lose itself. Guess its better to run solids on rubber but diffs on foam.

i did buy this
http://cgi.ebay.com/3Racing-Aluminiu...#ht_2205wt_939
stating that are for the 416,but once received i notice that they take the small TA05 size bearing end not the 416 size.
anywere else were i can get the correct one???

plus i do race in a very small track, with very tight turns, and the 416 seems to push wile on power during the turn making the turn more wide that it should.
the travel is at max and using white springs .
any tips?

The spring goes in the side without the side adjustment hole. I think that would be the short side off of the top of my head.

Is there a 2.5mm chassis option or one made by a 3rd party for the 416?

My friend has one on his WE. It is nice to have on high traction asphalt and carpet.

hello ..

has just ordered a TF416X instead of Xray T3.

but I need some parts to make different setup on the car.

# which the suspension mount blocks will I have? which come with?

spare parts? c-hubs? drive shafts and so on?
Rule number if someone has?

It comes with 1C,1C blocks in the front and 1XA, 1E blocks in the rear.

This gives 0 front arm sweep/toe and 3 rear inboard toe. This usually works on most tracks.

If you can't find your answer here you should go here, www.thard.co.uk , this site has lots of additional info and rc calculators and gear charts etc.

Replace the front swing shafts with steel ones and carry heaps of chubs or switch to the softer IFS ones. Carry a few knuckles, uprights and arms, and keep an eye on wear on the pulleys, particularly the small centre ones.

Also pick up some split blocks to use in place of the block that is flipped over the belt, and 3 D blocks so you can use D/D and XA/D which is the other good combination.

If you're running on asphalt the HPI springs are the pick over the tamiyas, get silver and blue

Hrmm gotta say the photon one is pretty friggin nice. The oversized rings and triangular diff ball holes make for an extremely sensual diff action, and the plastic covers are a heaps better solution than the stickers most of us use

That said the tamiya one is still tops and it'll last a LONG time if you build it right
