Could someone please tell me where to find setups from the team's cars at this years IIC?

What's up Weylin? Glad to see you getting back into it. We're still going strong here in Denver.

I was eyeballing the TRF cars (Marc & Victor) at IIC, and they didn't seem a whole lot different than Jilles' Snowbirds setup. Both were running the Spec-R gear diff, however. I ran Jilles' setup while I was there and thought the car was great the whole weekend. It's probably the best place to start on carpet.

Glad to hear it! Onroad is picking up here again, though we still dont have an actual permanent facility (that's being worked on though). I wasn't able to make the last race but apparently there were 60+ people . I've been racing mostly 2wd mod the last couple months. Stoked to get this 416x running, thanks for the link!

Also, i heard that giving the front arms a toe out sweep helps with handeling of the car. Has anyone tried this? and if so what suspension mount do you change, the FF or the FR. any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Sweep will give you more mid corner steering, esp in fast sweepers. Normally you would change both front and rear blocks to maintain the same track, so use D/B rather than C/C for example

Hey all,

Quick Q to those using the TOP driveshaft covers...do you find they rub on the inside of the rear hubs? Any need to remove some material to provide clearance, as it looks like the ones i have here have rubbed a little...

On the losi?

I haven't noticed any rubbin, I did nearly wear through one of the retainers when I accidentally used a too long screw in the front knuckle

Same here. In fact, I think it cost me a motor last week due to the extra drag in the drive train.

Yep, mine do that that too. I just file a little out of the inside the hub and it's fine.

On the rebuild last night I only noticed it on the rear, I guess some small bits of dirt have got in between hub and retainer. I will say, make assembling UJ's a piece of pee though
