I set my EPA on a stand and not on the ground, because due to caster/kickup you'll hit stuff earlier. On the T2.0, I find the steering links hit the shock springs before anything.

For the motor, what spur are you running? Is timing 0 on both the ESC and motor?

I did notice the turnbuckles hitting the springs.

Im running the 81 tooth spur that comes with the Avid slipper kit.

Frank, a 17.5 boosted should lift the tires when you're tuning the slipper though, shouldn't it?

I have never used the pick up the wheels way of setting my slipper. For me I set it on whatever track I'm at, since traction varies at every track. I set it so it slips a couple of feet from a dead stop. I'll set it even looser on a low grip track as long I can clear the jumps and not burn up the slipper.

No, wider since the outside tire won't turn as far before the inside wheel locks out.

I tried out the 3 gear trans last weekend in my mod truck and I have to say I like it!!! I could swear I had better traction coming out of the corners and overall the truck seemed like I could drive it a little harder. This is with a 7.0 Fantom on an old school dirt track, plenty of traction though with step pins. I like it so much I'm going to try it in my stock (13.5) truck at the next race. Looking forward to trying one in my indoor (carpet) truck too.
