how about the new durango vehicles? at least on the dex210V3, its pretty much same layout as the 2 but I am very interested in the dex410v5 and the dex210F.

Read posts 8797 and 8800 about the B5 carbon towers. Paul answered that they've been put on hold.

I was wondering if the Striker body for the RC8B3 is the same one for the Escale??

Yes, the nitro body can be used on the E version. Fits perfectly fine.

For 1/10th scale buggy?
They should be at any hobby shop or online retailer.
My LHS had a whole box full of em!

What compound is a little stiffer than gold, but I can still use on clay ?

Yeah the 2.2" tires have been selling out really fast from Amain, Jconcepts and Tower really fast in the past few months.
