While stock guys are definitely running 60mm/2.4, many of the mod guys in 2wd and 4wd are still running 2.2's at my local tracks (OCRC, LRH, etc.). I tracked down Maifield's Surf City OCRC setup and it says he was running 60mm front and 2.2 rear. Odd.

Have people transitioned over to 60mm across the board elsewhere in the U.S.? Just picked up a new wheeler and eyeing some 60mm Bar Flys to run on my 2wd and 4wd buggies though I'll probably be an odd man out. Maybe it's because people run AE or TLR wheels for the most part and stick with the 2.2s?
Anybody else notice that Prolines newest release (Micron) is available only in 2.2 and their VTR 2.4mm wheels have been discontinued?

Not at the moment; we will reevaluate once they have all their new kits released and settled back in.

Has anyone else had issues with the JConcepts Titanium Knurl Tip Front Axle Set? I ordered these along with the Jconcept front hexes and my B5m Lite about 3 weeks ago. From day one, there has always been a gritty feeling on the left side when I hand turn the axles. After each run it gets a little worse. I removed everything multiple times and cleaned them, again same result. I changed the bearing with a brand new bearing, same issue. I switched the axle from the left side of the car to the right and now the right side has a gritty feel to it. It's obviously the axle but can't figure out the problem. I have tried everything I can think of but can't get one side to spin smoothly. These things are not cheap at set At $30. Any ideas?
Thanks

sounds like a B5 front hub issues, that occurs with poorly lined up inserts. Now, the real question is: Is it smooth with the fit axles?

Hunch,
I'll see you tonight. I had the same issue. I may have a solution.

The only time I've seen this is when someone has glued in their bearing inserts in the steering block and they weren't 100% squared up when they set. I actually had this problem myself when I glued up a set trackside in a hurry .

If indeed you find something wrong with the axle itself, please contact JConcepts directly and we will help anyway possible.

Thanks for the response, and I thought about the bearing insert, which I did glue. However , when I swapped the axle from one side to the other the problem followed. The other side was smooth. So again I can only guess it's the axle itself.

Sorry if this has been asked before: Are there already 12 mm front wheels by JConcepts that fit the TLR 22 3.0 and has the same offset, e.g. the ZX-6 front wheels?

Unfortunately the TLR 2wd offset is different from any other buggy and we only have the standard/original hex wheel.

I'm not sure it's been confirmed yet to go into production, but it's being well received .

I see your 60mm wheel for the 22-4 (which I use on the HB D413) is not in stock at your warehouse (nor many other online retailers). Are you discontinuing this item now that TLR has announced the 22-4 61mm? I hope not

As far as I know, we are just out of stock and we will still carry them.
