Smile a few question on the r2

wicht springs can be used on the r2? will the tc3 springs work?
does the r2 weight less than 1500g (race ready) ?
@JDM, u said: the r2 has 1)Very minimal Torque steer and 2)Low maintanance
what does this mean? (my english is not the best)
and i need a setup for an outdoor asphalt track, traction: medium-high.
thx

What springs do I use... HPI

1500G..Yes depending on what electronics you have but on average.. my lightest Barracuda is 1470g race ready..and my heaviest is 1530g

Low maintainance.... = Eazy to work on and very little up keep

You need a medium-high traction set up .

here you go

Front
350w Oil
Hpi Pink27mm springs
0 toe
1.5deg - neg Camber.
High Roll center upper link on C-hub & camber link on inner position.
upper shock position out most hole
lower shock position on outer most hole
4mm ride height

Rear
400w Oil
HPI pink27mm springs
2~2.5 deg toe in
1deg neg camber
Low roll center, lower position on rear hub and camber link on inner most position
upper shock position 2nd most hole from the out side
lower shock position on outer most position
5mm ride height

Bodies' Dodge Stratus 2.0 or 300M

Tires..
Sorex 28~32 with HPI Red or Orange Inserts...

Hope this is a start for you...or any of you guys that need a good base to start from

I can tell you how I got started in them.... I was getting my ass handed to me at every event that I entered with my Pro3..so I broke down and bought my 1st "CUDA" and it was Night and day difference.. the car handled outstanding right out of the box.. and it was durable unlike my Hara Pro3 was when I !st bought it.... 400$ more on my Hara and it now performs at a similar level...
Just a great car all around
