I need a pic on how u guys are using other steering servo horns. My dam 1015 I picked up is bunk! But I already glued the serpent servo horn. I need to revert back to my 6040. I'm pissed!

is anyone else experience heavy binding in the front and rear diffs? Both of my diffs seem to have a high spot on them where the drivetrain nearly locks up. I used the .2 shims all around. Pinion and diffs.
The diff cases on this car are insanely hard composite material and nearly impossible to thread a screw into without first taping them. I'm nearly done, but I've got a headache now from extended wrenching. Dont feel like looking at this thing for at least a day or two :P
Any help on the diffs would be great. I wish serpent had a bit more product support here on the forums.

On the diffs. Did you follow the insert/ addendum that illustrates how to shim the diffs? Because it sounds like you shimmed them both the same and this insert has the front and rear different. If you don't have it here is a link.

Follow this and 1 will be tight and the other will not but they will break in nicely.
I gave up on the alum servo horn as it would bind once it was installed in the car so I used the stock plastic setup. 1 thing I did notice after building the servo saver as per the manual is that it's set pretty loose when you work it turning the wheels to the right. This dosent seem to effect my car at all on the track and so far it has survived a big track with some pretty big air.
