Just have to wire the motor up but I didn't have any 4mm bullet connectors to finish the job. This Q-base esc from HPI uses 4mm bullet connectors on the esc for the motor and solder posts for the power wires. I routed the sensor cable under the radio tray and it seems to work well.

I am less than impressed with the quality of the hardware this kit uses. I replaced most of the included hardware with my own stuff. I'm using the stock bladders for now with foam compensators that I made. The stock bladders are useless without them. Also, I was kind of let down when I found that there was a few philips screws included instead of hex hardware for the bearing retaining screws that go into the diff (see pic below)

Philips screw? Really?

Mine did so I just put two in each diff.
I don't think so. The sounds coming by center pinion/spur. Like I mentioned, sounds like the rec box is amplifying the noise. Maybe things just needs to settle.

thats not a no on the etruggy that are gas buggy need updated.

as for the screws in the gear box you can replace them but we been thought 4 differnt screw to find one that holds up

take it all back apart drill the hole smaller then 3mm and use a 3x5mm button head screw then look where the bearing ride clean up the mushroom plastic form adding a bigger screw

The body does a great job covering the body. Does the motor/Esc stay cool?

Guys I'm struggling with the ebuggy the rear isn't as planted its not taking to the track very well.

553 diff
30wt blue front 35 purple rear 8 hole tampered 1.3
27 front 28 rear height
Droop 99 front 116 rear
Sway front 2.3 rear 2.5
Shock front third hole down tower -a arm inside, rear third hole down -outside a arm
Camber rear tower inside down hub closes hole near tire, front tower upper hole and hole closes tire

1.5 toe right left =3 degrees

I've made a lot of adjustments this is the best so far but I'm not happy with its performace. Also it has a slight push but the rear is fish tailing I've tried every tire trust me I have many types settled on ibeam soft.

Track is technical light dust size small. I'm not able to keep up cause I'm worries about the rear and I'm baby it and losing track time. Thinking about dumping and going Los I tekno.

FYI about the transponder mounting.

During testing Billy was having problems with the transponder counting when the transponder was mounted under the ESC, hence the reason it has a different mounting location shown in the instructions.
