Your reason of flex on a hard impact kinda doesnt make sense because you will hit a flexing part before it goes to the chassis so really it doesnt matter as whatever corner you hit will break/flex and has nothing to do with the chassis in my opinion. with the chassis the SC10 flexes just as much as every other truck on the market, why do we need more flex than others? point blank, with the chassis the truck performs VERY well and has put the truck on top, i now have the truck to beat!

i know everyone wants to "justify" reasons for not buying it because of the cost mainly but the thing is that once you drive a truck with it you will understand and you will not go back. flex is only useable in very low grip situations, the more traction you have available the less flex you want. think about carpet TC's and asphalt TC's.

fastrc64 i am not picking on you, just making my points! i am not associated with Exotech in any way, i just know that the chassis is superior. on the juvenile RCshortcourse. there has been alot of trash talking about the chassis from a bunch of newbs that have never even tried it, i just think its funny how an opinion can be made without even trying it!
Marcus, i am not saying it would not be a great performance feature and tuning tool for the truck and the price is very reasonable .
i am not a newbie at all. i have 27 years of racing behind me i used to race touring cars for many years . i know how the kinetic force is applied in a crash . my sc10 4x4 works very well . i have a unorthodox setup on it
based on the principle of weight transfer, center of gravity and chassis roll .
i have heard a lot about some noise everyone is getting in their transmissions . my truck runs very smooth i have not replaced any of my idler or gear diffs. i did post a ways back that the gears have to go in the right direction if one is backwards it will cause the teeth not to line up correctly and it will click .
i see my Ack bar is on it's way thanks . this truck surely needs this tuning option

Because they kept their same slipper settings "tight" or "fully locked down" like they had before the pin mod.

When they should of had a "loose" or "slipping" slipper with the pin mod.

Do you know the viscosity is on that oil? I wonder if they have standard that can be converted to the scale used by the RC diff oil.

Being that it's synthetic I would think it would be fine for the seals, but anything oil based could eat the rubber. The RC stuff is all 100% silicone correct?

Seeing as how AE charges like $60 for their custom bodies I think we could do pretty well selling pre-painted custom bodies.
Thank you for the comments. The paint was done by Larry at http://kustomrcgraphics.com/. He also has a thread here on RCTech http://www.rctech.net/forum/painting...s-com-214.html

it's not oil it is grease it is good from -40 f to 400 f so i really don't think it will ever break down like it's counter part silicone will break down . i have been using it for awhile now i will never use silicone again

Gottcha, but you said it was like 3k diff oil right? I like the 5-7k in the rear then 10k-30k in the front, was seeing if I could come up with a conversion formula so I could get the best of both worlds (durability and tunablity)

Default Sc10 4x4 underbody

Does anyone suggest running the underbodies? I run mostly inside during the winter and outside during the warm months.

I used one outdoors on the loamier tracks around here, but indoors I don't.

i didnt change anything LOL!! and what is crazy i was running on the other local track (same one i ran the RCprofinals) and didnt have to change anything except the rear arm mounts all the way outside! the truck was still on fire!! i was .5 second in front of the fastest all day!

the chassis really settles things down where you dont have to change your setup every qualifier!

Default sc10 4x4

ok, i have officially had 2 full race days on the truck. my set up is pulled from the reedy race setup except for exo chassis and stock slipper with garo's..which are fn dialed. Im still of the pace by a lap but i am having some issues with stock shock shafts as they feel choppy when off the truck and compressed. on the truck when driving they dont feel like they are soaking up the ruff or jump sections so i have ordered the ft shafts, hopefully that will solve the problems. i have also changed front diff fluid to 7k from 20k, hopefully alowing the truck to have more entrance and mid corner grip, and also to keep more of the power up front. if anyone has any suggestion or new finds with the truck. btw is it by opinion or factual that the emulsion shock setup is a better way to go.
