[QUOTE=coopsnard;9930050]yea im running a 10.5. and im runing the 81 tooth spur with a 21 tooth pinion. I think thats ok right?

i would go up a few teeth on the pinion, i run a 81spur, 21pinion on a 7.5 motor in my b4.0 lol. start with a 24t pinion, and go up from there! u might end up with a 26-27t pinon with zero to little timing.

Dude that would be great if you could post a pic! I guess thats what im going to have to do.

Thanks fellas!
Go to 81/24, and there's no reason you should need a fan with a 10.5. Guys run 7.5's all the time with no fan. They don't run them for 30 min. at a time though.

I can't even drive the car with 25 blocks on. The 30's are on and probably never coming off. That's the way to go for us mortals.

That is way undergeared for a 10.5. When I run a Novak 10.5 in my buggy I run 27/72. Thats probably on the tall side for longer runs but sometimes I run it down here in Australia if the track is particularly bumpy / slippery and its as quick as my 8.5T but more consistent.

Ive attached the photo of my Kinetic setup in my B4.1 (before the +8mm conversion).

For the guys asking about whether the +8mm chassis is worth it - do it! Especially if the track is not super smooth or has jumps that arent perfectly manicured. Makes the car much more forgiving. Here is a photo from a big race 2 weeks ago I won in Melbourne using the new chassis. Thsi track was really bumpy with some huge jumps and around there it was a massive improvement! Setup sheet here if anyone interested:

Thanks!

What body is that? MMP seems to fit fine in there.

It's the proline body that comes on the FT 4.1 kit. Unsure of the name of the body. It fits the MMP perfect. The hole feeds air right across the heatsink.
