No, what happened is that the first one I had fried. They sent me another one and it was the newer version.

I have to say the MMP is an awsome ESC for the price.

have a question for anyone on here. i usually run a lrp sxx comp with a 7.5, but will be running stock buggy for the jconcepts clash in florida. i have never run stock before and just for one weekend will borrow my brothers rs pro esc out of his onroad car to use with a 17.5 motor. i dont know what software is on his esc and not sure which 17.5 to buy. looking at a trinity d3, but like to here everyones opinion on what they like to run along with gearing for a b4! so if anyone can help me get the esc settings, and gearing for a tekin rs pro and possibly the d3 motor. any help would be appreciated!

the main thing is so i can run along side with my brother, but one other reason is if i want to i can run both stock and mod buggy cause they allow advance timing in stock! the track is 140-70 and very flowing where u wont need much for punch, so as long as i have a 17.5 in my buggy i can run both classes!! i know i wont have as much bottom end as the mod guys, but i bet i could gear it right to be close to a 8.5 like the guys in mod run! i know 17.5's can be fast, i've seen it in person! i'll just have to watch the temps. so anyone who runs an rspro with a 17.5 and timing, please chime in.

I started this fitment question with gens ace 5000s a month ago. I bought a new non-carbon 4.1 shock tower and the gens ace 5000 (25mm height) now fits. I think I was using an old b4.0 non-carbon tower previously. There is very little room to move the battery forward or back though. Maybe half a foam block width will fit now. I'm using the carbon strap with thumbscrews. Hopefully this information helps someone else!

Yes, you'll just have to do a little trimming in the rear, and mount with velcro.

trim the front of the body, not the rear.
