Kangaroo won nats last year. Novarossi won pe worlds worlds and this years nats. As well as a long list of others. A plus 35 steel bearing motor under 400 bucks is beastly. And new kangaroos are 329 or so. Another solid motor.
Your paying less and getting less. The thing is your the distributors buddy so your really payin less. Lol

You never know until you try 1
I ran Maxpower for 2 seasons awesome motors then went to Nova Flash for 1/2 season until the pricing soared liked they were using metals not from this earth to justify then picco & i have not had any regrets
My point is if picco was not available in the U.S. think about it
Were we being price gauged

[QUOTE=wingracer;9890678]In the past I would agree with you but not today. The new Piccos are the real deal while the Novas are still mostly good but I'm seeing far more duds than I used to from them.
Name one world class driver that was running a Picco at this years nats. I can't think of any.
Hey Sean I'm not saying this motors no good. The guy that finished fifth in the a main ran xray and picco power. Was very fast
I wanted to run this engine after seeing it the first time It has power top bottom etc. I'm glad I went with the new nova stuff as well as the plus 35 steel bearing for me that's all I've ever ran was nova stuff. Just my opinion

The Market will determine the price of everything. Novarossi set prices they felt they could sell their engines at and some people bought them, others spent their money where they felt it be better spent.
We have a choice to buy something or not. Again, I'm cool with nova prices and I'm cool with Picco prices. If either company goes to far with their product, WE the MARKET have the right to vote with our dollars. They WILL get the point rather it be their price or their quality.
If we try to control them by telling them what prices they should sell their products at we will all lose.
In the end, the market has the final say.

I think of all the variables including the huge Nova team they have could that be a reason the consumer has to pay for it or just another strategy to not loose market share for a market that has not increased but is loosing steam increase pricing when the economy is bad so many less drivers racing cause it is getting to expensive then of course they need to lower there prices to make way for the 12/13 line
If the Euro downgrades it will help the U.S. dollar

GP came along with a great product, broke the monopoly and battery prices came down to a reasonable level.
That's what going to happen now with engines.
The Torque rage of engines is almost entirely new and has little to do with the EVO4 series and it comes very close to NR.
We ran two Torques the entire season and other than initial bearing problems they were awesome.
Considering the new EFRA rules for 2013, I guess alot of racers will look towards Picco.
Also, some major players over here will be switching brands
