Well, I have to say that officially, I am an official on this official thread officially about the SCTE.

I want to hear about anything and everything that comes out about it, that includes posting pics, hearing options, and opinions.

If someone has some cool prototype stuff and we get updates as they go along, thats great.

I enjoyed hearing about the new viper system, and the bce chassis, and the snr components...etc, etc, you get my gist. This is everything SCTE, all the time!!!!

Pushing product on others, that is not right. Giving your opinion, totally cool.

As for Bickering...take it to PM or give yourself a time out for crying out loud, most of us are adults.

Now, post away about your truck and the fun that you have had and any help you want to provide to others.

It's nice to see the official reps. can keep a level head, when the rest of us can't.

no cracking with the cf plate or braking the fan with hard impacts?

I have been running the fan mount with the original fan on my 1st gen SCTE ever since the truck came out. I have never had any problems. I do recommend mounting the fan with shock o rings between the fan and the mount for isolation. Hope this helps.

ESC's can take a LOT more heat than a motor with no risk of damage, so thermalling an esc only costs you the race, not a rotor or fets or anything. As its been said, if you are at or below 6 leds don't worry about anything. The leds in the tekin are the best way to tell how hot the esc is, not a temp gun.

thermalling is about 210 just remember that the on board temp is more accurate than a temp gun on heat sink.

I have actually found thin slices of nitro fuel tubing to be better at this than o rings , seems to cushion better IMO .......

Well i guess its OFFICAL THEN!....

glad to find a place where a company rep hangs out....

This has been a very informative thread for me personally, without asking anything hardly at all...

Lets all just KEEP it that way and enjoy the wealth of R&D we are getting at someone else's expense.......

Now,evryone back to the topic at hand...........

I got one of these to power my duo, he did a nice job on making it a finished looking product (Note: The fan seems loud at home but does not seem as loud at the track). I don't really understand the whole watt vs volts thing but I can charge 2 4c's 5000 at 10amps with no problem.

What kind of drop in temps have you seen with it?

I posted this on the Official Pimping thread. but I think it would belong here also.

Is there any chance the first page of the SCTE thread can have all applicable ESCs and Motors readded? I guess I am part Tekin cheeleader, Castle Crackhead, Fuze Follower and potential Viper A$$hole, so I like to know what works and what doesn't, I don't care which company makes it.

I guess it just seems like too much argueing, considering these really are only toy cars.

reason i ask is i felt a set from a guy at the track who didnt drill the holes. Just followed tje "bump" video. So it seems they will have a different feel depending if u use the bleed holes or not? Guess ill have to try it both ways.....

Only SaladFork can edit the first page of this thread cause he started it , or a Mod/Admin could if they wanted to .

I liked the way Mike build his with no rebound so that's what I decided to try. I always find it hard for me to get the rebound set equally on all shocks so I just build them with no rebound.

Drilling the bleeder hole helped a lot when I built mine with no rebound, it made it really easy.
